Sarah's Fabulous Movie Critique

Last week I ordered When the Levees Broke on Netflix.
I had some time over Friday and Saturday to watch the two disc documentary and all I have to say is wow.
Very educational, very powerful.
Its told from both the white and black perspective, all from people who experienced Hurricane Katrina and have suffered greatly in its aftermath.
It reveals how certain parts of the government tried did everything they could to alert the part of the government that would actually take action- and yet nothing got done.
When I finished watching this documentary, I felt very frustrated and discouraged and very sad for all of the people who suffered and are still suffering. FEMA really is one of the biggest failures of the century.
I would highly recommend this feature film if you're in the mood for something educational and real.
There's my two cents!
