I know, I'm super late on this.
I've had a crazy busy week. I'll have a crazy busy weekend. So, we'll leave this post up for a while before I write again (probably Sunday).

Heeeeeeere's another Thursday Threads.
Thanks to Lisa for taking the pictures.
Some of these pictures totally make me the first one where I wasn't paying attention. The second one where I look kind of pregnant. Or, the last one where I'm yelling at Caderyn to get out of the weeds.

And now, a message from her royal highness,
Princess Lucerene of Luchester:

Hark! Be that my fellow followers?
It be!
How doth thou fair on this fine Monday?
My day was exhausting.
First. I woketh up. Then I licketh my bottom. This be true.
Then I scratcheth my back upon the floor.
Next I took a nap upon my couch.
Then that little man child woketh up.
Ugh. How I despise him.
He was bothering-eth me so I went-eth outside.
I did my lady business before putting my pretty head upon a bed of green grass.
Then,I took a nap upon this bed as tendrils of sunlight slowly crept my way.
It was glorious.
Then I came inside and took another napeth until my female servant got home from work.
From there I commanded her to throw my tennis ball over a hundred times.
She obeyed. Such a good female servant.
Then I took a nap.
Are you not jealous of my glorious lifestyle?
Am I not the most amazing dog on this planet?

I'll let you sniff that one out.

Do you ever have those days where you just feel blue?
Today is one of those days.
I have so much to be thankful for...
So, why the heck and I so worried about:
The future
Having another child
The future
My messy house
The future
My class
The future

Do you see a pattern? We've got a lot of different ideas cooking in our house. I just hate waiting for them to take place and I hate waiting in general. I just want all the questions to be answered now. I want to make sure what we're doing is the right thing now.
But, I guess only time will tell.

We will be doing lots of breathing treatments this weekend.
Still trying to get rid of this yucky, cruddy cough.
Hope yours is filled with sunshine and good health!

Here's a little somethin' somethin' for all you people out there wondering what I look like on the weekends. This was actually a good day. No shower. But a day where I actually got dressed. Ohhhh yeah! As you will see, the images are blurry. Well, that's because I'm so busy on the weekends I barely have time to sit still.

My cousin Becky is having a baby.
For those of my cousins that read this blog, you already know that I'm sticking my claws in you and declaring Caderyn your child's/unborn child's/soon to be born children's cousin.
I have such wonderful memories of the times I shared with my cousins (except when Mark would punch me in the arm--that hurt!) that I want Caderyn to be surrounded as many cousins/second cousins/third cousins as possible.

Two weekends ago we celebrated the impending birth of baby boy and the pregnancy of his beautiful mother.
I'm very excited for her and her husband! Here are some pictures I took...the best I could do with our camera.

Part of the table spread

The food was delish.

Cute idea

The aunt-to- be

The punch bowl

The entire table spread. You bet I had seconds!

Look at all those presents! Note: Yes, there is a deer on the wall.

Bad news. Good news.
Bad news. Caderyn is still sick.
Good news. He's not so sick that he had to stay home today.

So we're on the mend!
I wanted to quickly post on something I discovered this weekend that I thought helped a ton.
While I was wandering around the mecca that is Target (say it like, Tar-jhay) I wandered into the baby skin care section hoping to find something to sooth anything and everything on my little man.

Well, I found this:

I personally think it made a HUGE difference in how Caderyn felt. He loved splashing in the bubbles and playing with the bubble wand (because how often do you get a bubble wand with your bubble serum- like never). It smelled oh so fresh and I could almost feel it working its soothing powers on my son.
Caderyn has had many baths since Friday and after each one I will say I've noticed a considerable mood increase. So you know he feels better! It is a bit pricey- around $13 per bottle, but I thought it was totally worth it.
Plus it's organic, and we all love that word.
I've used the Johnson and Johnson Soothing Vapor Bath. This is less expensive, but I don't think it works as well. Side note: I actually used this when I was pregnant and got cold after cold. It worked nicely.

So my point: I would recommend this California Baby product to any mother with a sick child just willing to try anything to make the cranky baby a little happier.

I'm too tired to actually think about writing right now.
Caderyn is still sick. He for sure has an ear infection and the wheezies in his lungs. So that means more breathing treatments and antibiotics. Oh and he vommed in his bed after his nap because he had a coughing fit.
Poor little man.

To make up for my lack of words, I'm going to let you FEAST YOUR EYES on my current man crush (other than my husband).

Well hello there Chris Hemsworth. I, like, totally love you. But, I'm married. But that's okay because you're hot (so is my husband). I think your pecs are bigger than mine...can I touch them? It looks like you have some dirt on your bicep. Can I touch that too?

Yesterday was Friday.
Friday is supposed to be the greatest day of the week, signifying a break in the crazy work routine.
Well, we had a fabulous Friday, but it quickly dissolved into a scary night.
Caderyn has not been feeling well. His nose has been running and his upper lip is swollen and cracked from wiping his nose.
Well, to add on all that, he started coughing yesterday. Oh dear. We don't like coughing. Coughing leads to scary thing with our little guy whose lungs are a little more sensitive than others after contracting a serious case of RSV at 5 weeks old and ending up in the hospital for a week.
Not fun.
So, needless to say, we don't take coughs lightly in this household.

Before bed I gave Caderyn some cough syrup and we snuggled together. He went to bed like a champ and Jeff and I watched a movie.
As we crawled into bed around 11:30 last night Caderyn started to stir and cough. Not a "my throat is dry" cough, but rather the deep croupy cough that makes me flinch in how painful it sounds.
The night quickly got worse as his cough got more intense. We woke him up around midnight and did two puffs from his inhaler, but the scary thing is, it didn't work.
I had a sick feeling in my stomach as I listened to Caderyn moan and gasp painfully for a full breath that we would be heading to the emergency room. Something I know may one day happen, but I dread the thought of.
Listen up parents, or really for anyone who might want to have kids in the future, your child's breathing is not something to take lightly. Take this from a mother whose son's skin turned a bluish tint when he was 5 weeks old because his oxygen levels were so low.
The feeling I had is not a good feeling. Inside your mind and heart are both racing, but on the outside you are trying to exude a calming vibe so your child will remain calm and be comfortable. But really, all you want to do is scream in fear and rush them out the door to a doctor.
But we didn't.
We got his breathing nebulizer hooked up and did a treatment. Then we let Caderyn soak in a warm bath.
That seemed to do the trick.
After the bath Jeff went back to bed because he had to work today and I snuggled Caderyn on the couch to watch VeggieTales until he fell asleep in my arms--something that is very rare.
It didn't matter that it was around 2:00 a.m. It didn't matter how tired I was. It didn't matter that we were letting our child watch television.
All that mattered was that we was breathing, was comfortable, that he wasn't scared and that he knew I was there with him.

So today, this guy is taking it easy.
Can't you just tell he doesn't feel well? It just breaks my heart.

There are lots of warm baths and breathing treatments.
He sure feels better after these!

And I am THAT mother who still hasn't showered or put on a bra yet, and it's past lunchtime.
Freckle attack!

The cool, almost chilly weather this morning really threw me for a loop, and now, I can't stop thinking about Christmas.
I've passed over Halloween and Thanksgiving all together.

So, this is just a heads up to my favorite Hubster.
Since you always grumble so much about gifting (which you shouldn't because it IS Christmas after all) I'm going to give you at least 3 months notice on some things that have caught my eye.
'Cause you know, I do love you after all and I do cook and clean and do your laundry.
Don't you want to spoil me a little?
Just a little?
How could you refuse this face?

So, here we go:
1. You know I love this perfume. You know you love the way it smells on me.

I want some for Christmas please. You can either do the big gift set that comes from Macy's (keep your eyes peeled for coupons!) or I wouldn't mind the big bottle that you can get from Costco around Christmas time for $45.

2. I would like these owl earrings

Aren't these super cute? I would wear them oh so much! You can find them here. They aren't terribly expensive and this website has lots of good sales.

3. I really like this shirt

It's under $50 and I think it is very pretty and would be very fun to wear with jeans. I am a size L (you know the girls aren't small) and you can find it here. P.S. I would NOT wear the shirt with pants like that girl is wearing.

4. I would really like some cake decorating tools. I think there's a kit. I kind of want to try it out...and eat cake.

5. I would like a new purse, preferably from Vera Bradley. I really like the style of the Villager in a) Happy Snails b) Suzani or c) Viva la Vera. Just for clarification Jeffrey, these are the print names they come in. Here is what the purse looks like. You can get this at Motif in Great Falls or Magic at the mall in Missoula. Then you don't have to pay sales tax or shipping.

6. I would also like a book: Bird Cloud. You can get this from Hastings.

7. Maybe a Delta or Allegiance gift card so I can go visit my parents or a friend.

8. A trip to visit my Aunt Peggi or my friend, Kpope in Seattle.

9. A HUGE cupcake with the most ridiculous amount of frosting ever. And some champagne.

Now my love, obviously you don't have to get me everything from this rough draft of a Christmas list.
But two, maybe three things would be just lovely.
You know I have a soft spot in my heart for Christmas and gift giving in general.
 I also love surprises.
So now that you have this, you have three months to pick and choose what you'd think would impress me the most. Or, you can come up with something all on your own if you'd like. That's fine too.
I just want to give you a little nudge...just in case.
