Are y'all getting tired of these bathroom fashion shots?
Well too bad. It's the only place I have time to take them.
Officially 24 weeks today (Thursday). There are only 16 weeks left until Baby G enters this world.
This week I have lacked energy to do anything. My house is a mess. Oh well.
Because I have lacked energy, I also lacked the motivation to take pictures of myself (my ego is crushed at this knowledge) and that's why there are only two.
So, the usual questionnaire:How far along? 24 weeks
Weight gain/loss: My legs touch and that grosses me out. But my doctor did tell me I'm doing really good. Much better than my first pregnancy where I ate a gazillion cupcakes.
Maternity clothes? Yeppers.
Stretch marks? My fair skinned curse.
Sleep? Pretty good, but my energy levels and motivation are way down. The obsessive-compulsive woman inside of me shrieks at the fact that I've left dishes in my sink probably every night this week and still have yet to deep clean my bathroom.
Best moment this week? Well yesterday I forgot I had a sitter for an hour so when she showed up I went to Costco *BY MYSELF* and ate some pizza and actually had a decent conversation or two over the phone with a friend and my dad. Do you know how nice it was not to have to interrupt the thought process every five minutes to talk to a little boy? Amazing! I also drove around in the car with my music blasting super loud and singing at the top of my lungs.
Food cravings: Still pizza. No cravings other than that really.
Gender: B is for Boy!
Belly button in or out? In, but looking very stretchy.
Movement? Holy smokes yes! We should probably sign this kid up for gymnastics NOW because he is all over the place all of the time. He flips and bumps and punches and kicks non-stop!
What I miss? You know that feeling when you put on your favorite pair of jeans and know you look super good in them...yeah I miss that. Maternity jeans aren't cutting it.
What I'm looking forward to: Summer! Having Jeff home. Having my parents here. Working out again.
Weekly wisdom: Don't take your child out to eat until they can enjoy it.
Milestones: My uterus is now the size of a soccer ball...weird. Baby G is 9 inches long and weighs over a pound and a half. His skin is getting pinker because small blood vessels are forming under the skin and filling with blood. Lungs are still developing and his nostrils are starting to open this week. They were plugged up before. He will begin taking practice breaths, breathing in amniotic fluid.
And for those other two I am currently living with:
Caderyn was SUPER excited to wear his Vikings outfit today. He ran around all morning yelling "Touchdown, Touchdown!" My Dad is super proud, I'm sure.
And her...where do I begin...
"Seriously? You would choose that man-child over me?"
