Last night I got the chance to go to the Macklemore show in Missoula.
Aaaaah! There are just not enough words. I don't get out very much, and if I do, concerts really aren't my thing, but OH MAN this was so much fun.
We took my bestest bud Bryanna (21 years of friendship and going strong) for her birthday and it was JUST THE BEST EVER.
I would go every night if I could.
Love the music.
I was and still am so, so tired from standing and jumping and dancing. But it is a good tired.
I do still have my voice intact, which is a miracle, considering I was screaming like a three-year-old throwing a tantrum and also singing at the top of my lungs.
I'm not proud of that, but you know...when in Rome.
If he comes to your state GO. It is worth it.
We were not amused with the standing.
We were amused with the people watching!
Ah, I love us.
We got to the show around 7:30p.m. and Macklemore didn't go on until after 10:00 p.m.
This meant we listened to really intense base thumps and two rappers who were there also.
My face and ribs are still vibrating from the base. Aye yi yi.
Then Macklemore came on.
And then he changed and sang some sweet tunes like Crew Cuts, Thrift Shop, Same Love and so many more.
Pretty sure he was pointing at me during this song and thinking,"Dang, I bet that red head would be super awesome to talk to. She fist pumps better than all these reckless youths."
Hey...I can dream...
And then these giant balloon balls came out of the ceiling
And then, glory of all glories, he came out with a Griz jersey on.
And ran around on the bleachers giving people high fives
He is a very fast Irishman. I couldn't get a clear picture.
There was so much music, so much confetti, and just so much general AWESOMENESS.
It was wonderful to get out and just nice to disconnect for a little bit and think about nothing but dancing, singing, and being entertained.
