My son, the procrastinator, has nearly had a few traumatizing moments where he barely makes it to the bathroom right after school. We've talked and talked about making sure he uses the class bathroom breaks to do his business, but without fail we have a Code Red at least once a week.
I picked Caderyn up from school on Wednesday and he ran up to me at the pick up spot. I thought he was going to give me a hug, but nooooooooo.
Caderyn: Mommy I have to go to the bathroom RIGHT NOW!
Me: Oh, uh okay well lets go back into the school.
Caderyn: I have to go. I have to go. I have to go.
Me: Do you have to go Number One or Number Two?
Caderyn: I have to do both RIGHT NOW.
Me: Okay, relax we're on our way.
We walk up to the crosswalk and the crossing guard who we'll call Miss P walks up with her STOP sign so we can cross.
Miss P: Hi Caderyn! Did you have a good day at school?
Caderyn: I can't talk I have to go Number Three!
Miss P: ...
Me: Caderyn! We don't share that with people.
Miss P: Well Caderyn I'm glad you told me or I would have kept talking to you!
We made it to the bathroom on time.
