IPHONE LATELY 10.4

Oh, hey hi there! I've been slacking on my posts this week, haven't I?
We have been pretty busy lately. Gibby had evaluations this week for Speech and Occupational Therapy. The good news is that his speech level no longer qualifies him for therapy (yay!), we just have to keep working on it with him and he will have another evaluation in a year. He does still need occupational therapy, which is fine with me. He has some hand and wrist delay and the therapist (who is from Montana!) said she can help fix this and then he will be ready for preschool. Wait...what? When she said that I nearly passed out. He will be going to preschool sooner rather than later...sigh. So we got all that set up this week. Caderyn has been busy with school stuff and I've been trying to keep him on top of that. I went to the dermatologist this week for an annual and found out I don't have skin cancer (woo!), but I do have a cyst (eeew) on my side that needs to be removed and I went out to the base here a couple times and got some stuff ready for a trip and bought groceries.
So, yes, we've had some busy days. But they are fun.
Here is a glimpse from last week.

Friday night I played third wheel (I'm really good at this) and went out for dinner and ice cream with my mom and dad. Parking lot lighting is soooo...romantic.

Saturday Caderyn had a birthday party at a fire station and it was everything a five-year-old could have hoped for. There was even a super intense monsoon that rolled in and trapped us at the station. It took us over an hour to get home there was so much flooding and lots of trees were in the streets.

Oh hello there incoming monsoon.

Maybe we should go inside now?

Sunday morning we got up bright and early and went to the Phoenix Zoo. It was a warm and muggy day, but getting there early helped. We were home by nap time.
Komodo Dragon (look by the log).
I am always fascinated by random facts--like when they bite you they paralyze you (the venom is actually a combination of bacteria and venom from their mouth) and you would still be alive when they started to eat you but there would be absolutely nothing you could do about it.
He was excited to see that dragon.

This thing was some kind of a wolf, but it looked like a fox on stilts.
 Jeff's favorite animal.

The rest of the day was spent finishing homework. Caderyn's printing is coming along very nicely.
Later that night we went back to the school for a cookout and Bingo!

And now you're caught up!
