Okay. I've got a bunch of photos here to crash you into current day. We're currently barreling toward the end of the school year at the moment, all while prepping for a vacation and trying to get the Husband ready to go out of town.
Spring arrived here, sort of. You'll see what I mean in a minute.
But we have had these beautiful trees flowering outside of our home. Just gorgeous. It felt like a beautiful flower canopy. Until the snow came and ruined it all.
Caderyn went to a fabulous birthday party for one of his best buddies. It was Star Wars, of course, and Darth Vader showed up to teach the young padawan's a thing or two.
Gabriel was very serious about his training.
Remember how I mentioned snow.
Yep. Spring snow.
And then it melted and I planted some flowers. A couple weeks ago I bought some big half whiskey barrel planters and planted one. So far my flowers haven't died and the deer and rabbits have left them alone. So I'm working up the courage to plant the other one. Riveting stuff here, I tell ya. But seriously, keeping flowers alive is a huge accomplishment for me. I've never had that touch.
See what I mean about these flowering trees. Beautiful canopy.
But alas, they are no more.
Before our second snow of the spring, a friend and I loaded up our kids and went to the zoo.
 Boy Scout field trip
I have a problem, and this problem is called Athleta.
They will bankrupt me if they keep sending magazines.
Soccer game selfies.
Caderyn's class has been learning about penguins. His teacher let them do a creative writing and art project with a penguin and this is what my son came up with. A Scottish, bagpipe playing penguin.
So proud.
We took the boys Glow Golfing a few weeks ago. It was a blast.
After golfing we went to Steak N Shake. We freaking love that place.

And then sickness arrived at our house.
That following Monday Gibby had a great morning at daycare and his therapies, and then he started to go downhill.
He fell asleep in the car WHICH HE NEVER DOES ANYMORE. Lord, why? Why take away his naps? We got him home and he was just so tired and sluggish that I took his temperature and sure enough he was running at 103. So we let the fever run its course for a few hours before giving him Tylenol before bed.
The next morning his fever was down to 101, so we planned a very laid back day.
He kept grabbing at his neck and had a lot of spit in his mouth, so I made an appointment with our doctor just to make sure things were okay.

That same day we kicked off Teacher Appreciation week at Caderyn's school.
Caderyn gave his teacher a sweet little note and treat.
Later, at our doctor's appointment, we found out that Gibby had strep throat.
So home we went with antibiotics and armful of Lysol wipes. Thankfully no one else seems to have gotten the sickness.
But, as you can see, he didn't act sick.

And then Mother's Day started to inch closer. Here's my sweet little gift that I got from Gibby and his school. A beautiful painting and these fabulous descriptions of my life.
I still can't get over what he thinks my job is. I don't have time to watch T.V. until those kids are in bed and my house is semi-presentable. So...yeah. Maybe I should start acting like its my job.
