JUNE: YES, WE ARE FINALLY IN JUNE

Together we made it! We made it to June! I'd like to thank my parents for all their support, and, of course, I'd like to thank the Academy...
But we really did make it into June. One small leap!
Oh but wait! I found these three pictures that didn't make it on to my last post and they are worth noting. Like these next two pictures of Gibby loving every bite of his birthday treat.
And this picture of how horribly hot it got the last day we were there.
Ugh. All the knee sweats.
We got back from Phoenix and hit the ground running. The boys and I both came down with a little tummy bug so the first day back we were out of commission. It was a day of snuggles and movies.
We were recovered by Tuesday. Caderyn went off to his sports camp and I picked up this lovely dress we had made for my niece as a birthday present. She loves The Little Mermaid, so of course she had to have a dress to match.
After we picked up the dress we also discovered that Lucy had a little infection she'd picked up while we were away. So she was gifted with the cone of shame and was the most pissed off Corgi on the entire planet.
Once we got Lucy all straightened out I was able to sneak out for a few hours with friends to the Red Rocks Amphitheater. We got to see The Lumineers in concert and it was so much fun, just a wonderful experience!
I took zero pictures of the actual concert because, in all honesty, I was too busy singing.

After the concert, the next few day were spent putting the house back together, taking care of Lucy, and celebrating the start of summer with friends.
Lucy eased into her cone a little more and I started singing "Easy breezy beautiful cone of shame" whenever she walked by. She hated it.
She looks so glamorous, doesn't she?

Some friends had a Progressive Dinner and I love those things. I had a blast and discovered I'm really not great at croquet.
I bet we stood on that deck for five minutes waiting for the guys to snap a picture. Little did we know they'd taken about 100.

Feeling pretty lucky to have found such a great group of people.
:)
